//Nickelodeon Avatar
The good news is that the art team for the Avatar project in Nickelodeon New York really likes my work, or so I was told. After reviewing my sample concept sketches, they found my artwork dynamic and very strong, and told me that my artwork is a good fit the property.
That's good to know. And what I've seen of the Avatar property so far, it's definitely something I would love to work on.
But...
...As with all entertainment property, the availability of projects depends on the approval of projects. While the NickNY team was enthusiastic about jumping onto the numerous projects that are related to the Avatar show, the "budget people" came into the picture.
Nothing outta my expectation, since I've worked in the entertainment industry long enough to know what ultimately binds an opportunity. I've been around long enough to not hold too much faith in anyone besides myself. Yeah, I am being negative. But people who complain about me feeling such way never realize that they haven't done anything to make me feel confident about them. I am realistic, honest and objective. Then again, I don't know too many people that likes to hear the truth.
But hey, like I said: At least my artwork is good enough to be on top of NickNY's artist list.

1. Yes, apparently my bday is Sept 6 although i don't totally agree with your previous post about the birthday. I don't know if i put others first enough for me to notice. (haha, Smeeta has the same profile too)
2. I like edgy songs and to me, Jaychou's songs fit that description. I have to confess, I do have a slight obsession. As for David Tao, he's very cool too! Not enuf for me to be his follower. here's where ur convincing skills come in.
3. Commercial artist eh? Tell me your story! One day, I wanna open up my own art studio but for now, i teach kids. sometimes a group/individual.
oooo nickelodeon huh??? i used to watch that channel 24/7 haha... whatever u decide on... good luck!!
NICKELODEON? =D I like them. Congrats on them liking your artwork!
I loved that Doug show. I Forget what it's called though. I can still hum the tune, though =)
Oh, and I like this chinese song. She sounds cutsy.
Have a great day!!
Henry my dear, you lead one exciting life. and word up on being realistic. there's a part of me that's one part idealist, one part pessimist/realist. I think if you don't have a bit of the latter, you'll end up being very screwed in life cause in business people tend to only look out for themselves....and not for you even if you're "friends". It's harsh but true. Good luck hon!
Henry! how much you selling your camera for?
I've seen that show.
I've been watching MTVs of eVonne on YouTube... OMG.. she is so hot. Yes, yes, I know.. she's yours..but I don't care!
